Dan founded TAC Architectural Group, Inc. in Hampden, Maine in 2014. He has over twenty years of design and construction administration experience. He brings a wide range of project experience of new construction, renovation, and historical work. Project types range from financial, corporate office, healthcare, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, laboratory, education, residential from single family up to 144-unit complex, courthouse, libraries, hotels and auditoriums.
Dan's career started in Boston were he gained a wide experience on large projects throughout New England. After leaving Boston he joined a firm in New Hampshire that was a small firm giving the ability to have a lot of hands on field work.
Dan came back to his home state of Maine in June of 2002. He ran the Architectural Department of a large firm for many years mentoring young architects. Dan’s passion for architecture is solving Owner's projects and ideas into the built environment.
Dan enjoys working with his clients from the first day in design, through construction and project completion. He believes in servicing his clients to meet their goals established for the project.
Dan is currently Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Maine Chapter President. The mission of CSI is to advance building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance. Dan led the Maine Chapter of CSI in 2014 & 2016 with a High Performance Building education conference in Maine with over 280 attendees and received an Award from CSI for the conference.
